Andrew Pilkington
Having worked for a number of premium luxury car brands, both in the UK and across Europe for over 30 years, Andrew is somewhat of an automotive ‘expert’. Starting his career as a Zone Manager he rose to set-up and lead, as Managing Director, 2 start-up automotive OEM car brands in the UK.
He started his automotive career as a Zone Manager - Finance before becoming a Zone Manager - Car, Regional Manager, Market Area Sales Director and Head of Sales. Through this experience, he has an amazing track record of working with and supporting retail partners on all aspects of their operations. His experience also includes being Head of Network Dealer Leadership, Training and Development for Porsche Cars GB and Lexus GB.
During the last 5+ years, as Managing Director, he has been responsible for the successful launch of Genesis Motor UK Limited and Polestar UK. Both are omnichannel e-commerce direct to consumer EV brands. In both companies, he was responsible for setting up, recruiting the teams and developing the business. This has provided him with a unique perspective on the automotive sector; both being the retailer and OEM of the ‘end to end digital e-commerce customer journey’ including leadership, brand building, sales and after sales performance, marketing strategy, customer satisfaction, working with the media in a multi-national matrix organisation.
Andrew’s mantra is ‘performance through people to deliver an exceptional customer experience’. He is totally committed to helping people and ultimately businesses to realise their full potential, inspiring them through his extensive knowledge, experience, training, coaching and mentoring.
In his spare time, Andrew enjoys playing golf, cycling and walking.
