Ewart Lister

Ewart is a qualified management accountant with 30+ years of experience, significantly as a leader within Automotive and FMCG.

Ewart’s positive yet pragmatic approach has been utilised to develop and lead commercial & technical finance teams in addition to heading up the UK remarketing function for Toyota & Lexus, where he was instrumental in achieving significant volume growth & market leading RVs on several new model launches.

Having worked as an Interim Finance / Operations Director with small to medium size businesses, Ewart’s analytical eye for detail enables him to quickly get to the heart of problems and challenges to generate improvements and process efficiencies to overcome them.

As Finance Director responsible for the building of Genesis Motor UK, Ewart’s belief in harnessing the power of people to create effective high performing teams was instrumental in the successful launch of the brand to the UK automotive market.

Ewart throws himself into life outside of work having completed many triathlons and marathons. Now his knees are creaking more (his words, not ours, we promise!), he can often be found indulging his love for rugby and horse racing as a spectator both in the UK & overseas.
